Don’t Be Afraid Of What You Don’t Understand

Don't Be Afraid Of What You Don't UnderstandThe last month I was actively going to the gym. Working out 4 times a week, pushing to the max.

And the last week I noticed a weird kind of feeling, almost a feeling of pain in my heart area, I could often feel my heart beats. ( Don’t overdue in the gym)

Without waiting too much  I went to the doctor to find out for sure what’s wrong with me.

After waiting in a long line I finally got to see the doctor. She listened to my heart with a stethoscope, said almost nothing and sent me to get a cardiogram.

I went to another cabinet to get it. Cardiologist said to me to lay down. There was a creepy looking thingy lying on the bed – electrocardiograph.

It was my first time in this cabinet so, I didn’t knew what to expect.

I expected PAIN!

The cardiologist oiled my cabs with alcohol to disinfect, usually after that they stick a needle there and this is what I was expecting. Kinda.

But sadly the procedure didn’t involve needles. lol

You actually don’t feel any pain or any uncomfortable feelings. If someone would have told me that I probably wouldn’t have believed them.

My cardiogram was normal. After waiting in the long line again, the doctor prescribed me magnesium pills and gave me a two-week “vacation” from sports.

Now, the lesson that I wanted to teach you from this story was to not be afraid of things that you don’t understand that relates to marketing.

So, often we are afraid to take action, because we don’t understand something and what is the best way to figure out how SEO works, how to set up a PPC ad campaign, how to set up a Facebook fanpage, how to set up a WordPress site, how to create a squeeze page, how to do whatever that you want to do? It’s just go there and try to do it.

It’s not that you are clueless where to start, you just don’t know what is going to be the next step and that stops you from taking action whatsoever.

But in reality there is nothing to be scared off. You wont get your hand chopped down for creating a bad PPC campaign or a crappy website. Probably, you will do a good job, because you will realize it isn’t that hard as it looked like in the first place.

So, today I dare you to take action on something that you were waiting to try out for days or even weeks, but just didn’t, because you just thought that you don’t have the skills needed.

You wont get good at something, if you wont do it.
