The last couple of days I was talking about safelists, how they work, how to use them, what you shouldn’t do etc. In the first post that I wrote I told that one of the mistakes that I did when I was just starting to learn how to use safelists was that I joined a lot of safelists some of them were crappy, some were okay, but I didn’t really knew that and I was concentrating on those where you could mail to more people, more frequent and gather credits a lot faster. Now that’s a big mistake.
Lets think a bit, if you know how safelists work then you know that you should even look for the opposite most of the time. If you can mail a lot more people, it means other safelist members can too and you will get a lot of emails, if you get a lot of emails then you don’t open a lot of them and the safelist responsiveness drops. So, if by being a free member you can mail a ton of people that in most cases isn’t a good thing.
If you can mail frequently then it is pretty much the same, more emails, less responsive and if a free member can gather the credits needed to send an ad to the safelist very quickly, just by viewing 10-30 emails then this is also bad, because it means that tons of emails wont get opened, there’s just no reason to do that and the safelist responsiveness drops again.
You want to advertise on safelists where people actually see your emails and watch your ads, so you could get subscribers and make money.
If you register to random safelists you are guaranteed that you will land on a lot of crappy safelists that don’t produce any results, but they do look attractive from the outside. There are tons and tons of safelists out there and I don’t recommend to start joining all of them and testing yourself, better get a list from someone who has already done that.
Here’s my list of safelists that I recommend:
My personal favorite – Adchiever. Very professional safelist.

A great, great safelist also one of my favorites. State of the Art Mailer – the name speaks for it self.

ListBuildingMaximiser – I don’t really like this one, because it send a lot of solo ads to my primary email, but it does bring results.

Elite Safelist

This list should be more than enough to get you started using safelists, I will probably add a few more safelists later that I haven’t yet tested, but I heard that they produce very good results. Also I want to remind you that the power of safelists are shown when you upgrade and when you use the safelists regularly to mail a lot of people.
