Pixlr Free Online Image Editor

Pixlr Free Online Image EditorI have used multiple versions of Photoshop starting with CS then CS2, CS4 and not that long ago I tried out Photoshop CS6. Sure, it’s a really great software, with tons of tools and functions from which probably a half, an average user doesn’t even need and all this comes with a price of $900.

Ouch. Not everyone can afford to buy it and not everyone needs a software like that, but what to do, if you are looking for an image editing software that could still do the work and be a lot more cheaper, heck even free? For many entrepreneurs that don’t have the money to hire a designer a software like that could be a life saver.

Guess what, just recently I have found a free online image editing tool called Pixlr, I found it by looking for an alternative to Photoshop and I fell in love with it after trying it our for a few times and now I do all my graphic work with this software.

If we would compare Photoshop to Pixlr then sure it has less functions and tools, but there are even some stuff that I think are better than in Photoshop. You can save your images that you create on image sharing sites and have your picture uploaded on the net instantly and with Photoshop you still need to upload the file to the net manually. Also some tools work far more intuitively then on Photoshop.

I love Pixlr because it is fast. For example, I was chatting on Skype with a friend and I wanted to explain something, now is there a better way to explain something than visually? So, I opened Pixlr (there’s no loading), draw it out, save it on the net and quickly gave a link for her to check it out. It took me like two minutes, if I have used Photoshop I would have spent two minutes waiting for it to load.

Pixlr isn’t perfect, I would really appreciate a shape drawing tool, also layers aren’t that functional, but with a little imagination you can do wonders and yes it is free. So, if you are looking for a tool to create your banners or other kind of images then I recommend Pixlr. To check it out go to http://www.pixlr.com , you will be amazed what you can get for free these days and I sure hope this tool is going to get even better.
